What if, Matt House is retained as DC for next year?

If we bring in multiple quality position coaches (like we have on offense) it wouldn't be the worst thing. I don’t think he forgot how to coach football nor do I believe CBK doesn’t know what a quality DC looks like.

If they’re keeping him there’s a good reason for it. Let’s not forget CBK let go his long time ally when special teams went to hell last season, he’ll do it again if he needs to.

I think the two biggest issues on D are lack of high talent/depth & lack of technique/fundamentals. Top flight position guys would go a long way to directly address both problems.

That all said, I wouldn’t be shocked if they canned House.

I won't be upset because I think there's a massive deficit of personnel on top of a lot of attrition both in the secondary and on the DL.


It's hard for me to believe Matt House got bad overnight. A lot of folks in cfb sang his praises.
