The better argument against that call was "what if the ball got intercepted. Would Miles still be here today?"

Thats such B.S.. I was at that game and lets just say he fumbles the ball around for a second before dropping it incomplete. That one second was not something we could have counted on to kick the F.G. PERIOD.
You have no clue.

You need to review the screen shot that was so kindly added to this thread so you can determine whether, in fact, there was really only 1 sec on the clock. Please take your time and get back to us with your findings.

I enjoy my life. I have 3 sons And a daughter coming in February. Plain And simple for me is that I Just don't like and ever thought miles was a good fit. But along with what happened This year along with some of his other things, he is just a lucky man.

so you're assuming we miss the field goal?

I've got a better what if.....what if Ryan Perrilloux keeps his shite together and in '08 runs one of the most prolific LSU offenses ever? we score tons of points....we keep our defense off the field....JL only comes in for mopup duty so any mistake is mitigated....JJ redshirts, gets stronger, smarter, more mature and perfects the system....Crowton is seen as a genius and some wac or pac10 school takes him away. we will never know....will we?

Here I will give you my take. Maybe Les would have considered the Michagan job more, but I honestly think he would still be here. He is a huge family guy and his family loves it here.
As for if we would have lost that game, it would have created a tie for the West between LSU and Auburn with Auburn winning the tie breaker and they would go to the SEC Championship and LSU would have done Sugar or Capital One depending on the voters.

A bigger what if is....LSU went up 5 with the TD and kicked the PAT to go up six instead of going for 2 to take a 7pt lead.....so what if Auburn returned the kickoff and won with a PAT not very likely but possible

Can everyone not see the picture I posted?

Why is anyone arguing that there was only 1 second left on the clock.

Like I said Byrd is on the ground already rolled over with 4 seconds left.. Literally enough time for someone to run 30-40 yards. How does someone bobble a ball for that long?

There is no debate.. LSU would have had the clock stopped with time left on the clock had it been incomplete.

Do you think ppl are just ignoring the screenshot of the pass that shows 4 sec on the clock? This is the REAL problem with LSU football. Not Miles, Not Crowton (well he still needs to go), Not Alleva... Its the DAMN fans. Over half of our fanbase just run around spouting off talking points and half of them arent even true.

I really dont think many of them saw the image. Especially since people came on here after I posted it and claimed there was no time left.

Actually, there was one second left after that play.
