After watching several other games yesterday: we don't have an Offensive line that can perform, we don't have play calling that makes sense, our QB is lagging behind. We don't look like other teams that have an offense and can put drives together. IF coach BK doesn't do something with Sloan, he better have every 5 star player for next year bc at this point I'm no longer confident that BK can pull this off. We owe him too much money to swap him out for another unproven coach.

Can’t stretch the field either because Nuss’s deep ball is awful.

They live on a system where they pound the rock effectively and the QB can get to a 3 read progression during the drive in their passing game.
I dont think I have seen Nuss really go through a Read Progression this year. It seems like almost every single play he is staring down his target and tosses it to him. Scouts are going to notice. Dude has lost so much money this year.

Joe Sloan needs to go is there is no rhythm or rhyme to his offense. He runs so much gadget (screens, rpo) that there is no identity on offense
Been saying this from game 1, Sloan is the main problem. Needs to be fired tomorrow, someone on that team can call plays. Grab a high school coach in Baton Rouge
Kelly does not realize the problem, or he does and will wait until off season

The lack of cohesive direction and the glaring talent gaps at OL all speak to a rudderless staff that is in crisis management and never had a overall plan. It doesn’t have to be a complicated mission statement, it could be very simple as in:
#1. LSU will dominate the LOS.
#2. LSU will be a physical team on every play. Teams will hate to play us.
#3. The game plan will exploit the skill of the players rather than hold them back.
Clearly the team doesn’t have that foundation. If the staff, starting with BK doesn’t set that expectation, it won’t ever just happen on its own.
Also - How could this staff spend so much money on WRs who cannot catch and get in hot head fights at the goal line and not go get 3-4 OL? Its the biggest weakness on the team by far and its inconceivable that the offensive brain trust thought they could get through the SEC with this caliber of starters on the OL.

I love the Breiden mf Fehoko is actively posting on the rant. I don’t like the unfortunate reality it took to get here but I do love to see former players providing their input here!! Loved you at LSU breiden, hope all is well:)

I think the unit playing the best right now is the DL
We can thank Kyle Williams for that, one of CBK's best hires

Can someone get these 5 points to BK ASAP?

The crazy thing about tigerdroppings is you've got a national championship winning NFL player here telling you what's going wrong and there are STILL people responding "oh yeah well what do you know?!"
Thanks for posting, Breiden

It begins and ends with the o-line.

My issue with replacing the entire offensive staff is that’s money that could go to a buyout. Why the heck would you spend tens of millions to buy Sloan, Davis, etc., get new coaches, buy a bunch of offensive players for a lame duck coach? Replacing offensive staff won’t be cheap and it will be throwing good money after bad. I realize it’s 50 million to buyout Kelly. The solution for me is to do nothing. Make Kelly coach another year with what he has. These coaches are his. Save money for the buyout next year.

Sloan needs to be gone, yesterday. He’s got no business calling any plays in D1 football. He doesn’t have what it takes.

I watched Georgia and Ole Miss play yesterday and I think it was in the third quarter. George was on the three or 4 yard line. They got an eye formation run a guide in motion fake a little toss to him quarterback had two or three reads the third one was the running back right out of the flat dumped it right to him touchdown look like a simple well run play and I’m thinking to myself. Why can’t we do that? I don’t get it. I agree with everything you posted.
Cause Sloan is a fricking idiot. There are some of us that have been saying this for 2 years

Look at the tape. Green crosses a lot and Nuss keeps trying the hard pass from the near hash to the far sideline, Even if he completes it there is an instant tackle.

Other than Moore, this OLine might be the worst one I’ve ever seen at LSU. Guys constantly either being put on skates or just getting abused by defensive linemen. They can’t block for shite.
Posted on 10/19/25 at 3:55 pm to Breiden Fehoko
All of this! But especially with #1, it’s an offense you run when you’re physically overmatched and need to “confuse” the defense. That is not a problem LSU currently has, or will ever have in every game save Bama/GA. Couple a b$&chmade scheme with a bad play caller and we got what we see. You can overcome one or the other and win games like this. With both you’re lucky your talent will carry you to 8 wins. And it will get worse every year until they shytcan the HC or make him change his scheme and offensive coaches. If you’re gonna keep CBK can his offensive coaches and his playbook.
The Rant doesn’t like it but “Sunbelt Billy” would be a good OC if he doesn’t get another HC job. That’ll get a downvote or two??.

I’m not sure Nuss is agile or quick enough to get away from his linemen if he is under center.

Les Miles recruited guards and made some of them tackles.
Coach O took a traditional approach.
Coach K recruits only tackles, and no true guards. The trade off is the inability to lower their center of gravity and generate a push on rushing downs.
The recruitment of Moore is a departure of that, so the line has improved, but still lacks true guards. This is why the running game has suffered.

I am calling bullshite! Nobody gonna win jack shite without a dual threat QB anymore period full fricking stop. Changing out OC's aint gonna solve nothing. If we had with this defense a Ty Simpson, a Marcel Reed, a Arch Manning, a Gunner Stockton, a Trinidad Chambliss, a Diego Pavia, or a Talen Green we are undefeated. The days of a pocket passer are OVER. Notice ever team that has a shot at the SEC title has a good or great dual threat QB. Get it through your thick skulls it aint the OC it's Nuss. He can throw really well and had a great game yesterday but it aint enough any more. Bigger question is why you are not blaming Baker instead of Sloan. Fools.
