First game I took my oldest son to,he was 9, about 2003, played Bama. Bought tix outside of stadium from a questionable character. 45yd line about 15 rows off sideline, sat down and was thinking this is awesome. About 30 min before kickoff this old couple comes up and says sorry your in our seats. I checked my tix and theirs, which on the back of their tix was stamped "This tix supercedes anyother for this event" They said the season tix were stolen from the LSU mailroom and it happens every game. We went and stood by the concession stand, my little 9yr old standing there with his souvenier LSU football, I was frickin pissed. After kickoff I started looking around and about 3 rows back from those seats were 2 empty. Thats the only seats all around that were empty. Sat down by some Bama folks, they said they bought 4 of six online and I guess the other 2 didnt sell. Still awesome seats, still joke to this day with my oldest son whose been to numerous games with me since then, he's 17.Learned a good lesson, "God Blesses Stupid People"

I've stood front row of the student section more times than I can count. Also made friends with a marshal one year and stood in the athletes section below the student section. Actual seats, I've sat about 15 rows up on both 20s, & the west side suites 50 yard line. They offer such differing views, it's hard to say which is best. But for me, I'll take student section every time.

Someone my dad works with gave him 2 tickets to the 03 LSU vs. UGA game. They turned out to be 50 yard line tickets about 15 rows from the field.

Who hasn't sat on the 50 at least once? I was 15 rows up on the 50 for the Arky overtime game 2 years ago. That was fun.

was on the 40, behind the team, about 25-30 rows up, but it was a JV game ad I was in elementary school.

50 yard line right under the press box for Mississippi St. back in the 90's. Rained like heck but we stayed perfectly dry.

Pressbox with the LSU Board of Supervisors for the entire 1988 and 1989 season. Mike Archer's future was decided after one of the games. As you can tell, it didn't end well for Mr. Archer.

Don't remember the section but my brother used to be Mike the Tiger so we got athlete family seats(funny I know he's not an athlete).
Auburn 2003 we sat behind the LSU bench 15 rows up, 50 yd line.
Matt Mauk's uncle from Indiana sat to my left, and LaRon Landry's family was right behind us.
Mauk's uncle, when the tigers ran out the tunnel, turned to me and showed me the goosebumps on his arm and said, "this is amazing. I don't even root for LSU, and it gives me the chills!"
I know, CSB. But that's what you're axin for

absolute favorite is the uppers, particularly the east uppers.
Most Fun: 50 yard line (on west side) about 6 or 7 rows from the very top. You'r right. It depends a lot on the people you are around.

I sat (stood) in the front row of the student section for the win over then #1 Florida in 1997. easily my best experience in Tiger stadium. also got to fly on the team plan to nashville to play vandy when I was 13. It was set up by my godfather. got to stay in the team hotel and visit with lots of the players. those were the Jeff wickersham, dalton/James gang years. awesome experience. Played ping pong with Darrell Philips in the atrium of the hotel. I will never forget that.

13 Rows up 50 Yard Line on East Side for Arkansas Game in 1999. I had Season Tickets for years in South End Zone U-16 but this was definitely a different look for the game. What I remember most was Rohan coming into the Game and I ask someone if we had a lineman with the number 6 and he said that was Rohan and I could not believe how large he was.

I've sat in all corners of the stadium except the club/box suites; been on the field a couple of times.
But my favorite seats were the one's my dad had while I was in high school. Top row of the original stadium bowl, square on the 50. Great view, could stand up with no body complaining, had an empty space behind your seat. Loved those seats.

Got 2 tickets for $35 each from a guy who wanted to cut in line to the Port-o-let. He asked "can I cut in line" I said "Do you have tickets?".
We sat around the 40 yard line, about 30 rows up. Nice chairs, and to think we were on our way home.

When I was in graduate school at LSU the student section was still in the curve of the north end zone, but the band was seated more toward the true west side. The majority of the student section was to the north end zone side of the band but there was one small section of student seating on the sidelines side of the band. Most of the older students, like me, would sit in this section. My wife and I would get in line on game day in early afternoon and when the gate was opened there would be a mad dash for all the seating. We always sat on the 30-35 yard line about half way up the lower bowl.

Pressbox, sitting between John Ferguson and Doug Moreau as spotter for the TigerVision telecasts in the fall of 1983. Except for being on the sidelines next to the head coach, I can't think of a better place to be.
