Absolutely NOT. (Even if he wins out; which they aren't going to do) If they have a good showing, maybe he'll get a chance to be the RB or WR Coach under the new HC. We've seen FW as HC at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He was fired.

Good for him, he might could parlay that into a head gig if he wants it.

I’ll have what you’re smoking if you think we’re winning at Alabama and OU

Not going to happen, but if he wins out and LSU somehhow squeaks into the playoff and he wins the whole damn thing... then sure, why not, give him the damn job!

Probably, Honestly if we somehow look good vs Bama the noise will start to grow. Hopefully he has the maturity to know that he was good where he was at and probably just needs a healthy raise.

Correct. Would be a program killer. Dude cant even get a RB rotation correct much less an entire program. If he gets sour grapes over not getting the job, so be it. Hes a great LA recruiter at LSU. Hes harmless elsewhere and diminishes his value tremendously. If hes smart he knows where and how his bread is buttered. Recruiting LA for LSU from an almost meaningless position coach job. Only less meaningful position he could coach would be TEs.

Frank Wilson is a tremendous asset to LSU because he was very successful as a High School coach in New Orleans and can recruit well there. However, as a college head coach he was 26-40 at McNeese and UT-San Antonio. I hope the next LSU head coach keeps him on.

Coach O put the best LSU Team on the field ever!
Frank can bring another National Championship and I’d be more than satisfied!

If Frank wins out, I definitely think he should be given the chance!

Nothing........He's had two head coaching jobs and both were disasters. He cannot become LSU's head coach............

Absolutely. The new coach will retain him in some capacity like recruiting honcho.

Are you high? Frank Wilson was a terrible head coach on the NAIA (whatever) level, and you want him to get the job at lsu?????
