Most exciting day of baseball this year. Amazing pitching today. Unreal performances. Crews is a stud. Dugas is back. Labas, Veitmeier, Coleman, Crews, Dugas, Fontenot all deserve game balls. Thompson and Morgan need to frick a fat white Antifa progressive whore with purple hair before bed so they show up tomorrow ready to play.

Well we faced an ace on Friday and Aces tend to shut opposing hitters down. That’s why we call them aces.

Paul didn’t let his son pick the lineup?

This team has been very streaky all year. We can come out guns blazing tomorrow or we could lay an egg.

The line up batting order was the only thing that kept us from winning Friday

Friday’s opposing pitcher was on his game.

LSU usually feasts on mediocre pitching and starves against upper tier guys. There is rarely an in between.

That pitcher had one of the weirder deliveries I have seen, so he was really hard to hit because you could never get a read on the ball coming in. But it still was only a 3-run game. Our pitching and D (minus a few errors here and there) have been really good.

It really was. We lost that game 3-0.

Tonight we only won 4-1. But Arnold had a hit in the first inning and we scored a run. The little bit of momentum, the couple of extra bats to at least have a chance at hits (Drost had a hit his first AB) turned the lineup over enough for a couple of big swings to make the difference.

I don’t think we win tonight with Friday’s lineup.

Manieris lineup decisions were awful and Gonzaga pitched an all American who also blatantly cheats.

We don’t hit junk ballers and lefties well.
Also let’s not pretend that Jacob is some scrub. He is 2nd team all America.

Same thing that would’ve happened in the sec tournament. We’re a young team, and many of our young kids haven’t experienced post season pressure or big game pressure like a regional or sec tourney. Young team and kids with nerves = playing tight in fear of a loss or screwing up and letting everyone down. But once a young team gets the taste of a loss finally out of their system then they come out playing lose and normal the next games bc that fear and that tightness from being nervous is gone… it’s the same thing that’s happening to whoever has to play 2nd if Bianco doesn’t; nervous and scared to screw up; instead of just trusting your game and yourself. Baseball is a very mental game and when/if you are to much in your head then majority of the time you won’t play to your best potential. Gurantee if we saw that Gonzaga team again right now; even with their same ace that they threw Friday against us; you would see a completely different result.

Exactly. It’s a shame he’s not on a better team. That way we wouldn’t have had to see him and this would be over.
