Dwayne Bowe and Rueben Randle.

Bowe had a few good years in KC- even made a pro bowl and signed a pretty big 2nd contract. He flamed out relatively quickly after that and was out of football faster than I thought he’d be.

Rueben had a couple of promising years and it just turned into nothing.

While on the topic of former receivers- crazy to think that Buster Davis became a 1st round pick to the Chargers. I think he only lasted 3 years in the league.

Glen Dorsey.. I just don't get it. I thought he'd be Aaron Donald before AD was a thing.

I think he was on track to be one of the best. To me, he never looked as dominate again after that cheap shot at Auburn messed him up.

Buster Davis and Rueben both had injury issues, iirc.

side note, kinda wish Rueben's brother kept posting here to give some scoop, but he stopped after RR declared.

David Woodley. Didn’t think he would make the roster more or less be a starter and make it to the Super Bowl under Don Shula and the Miami Dolphins. Was part of the platoon nicknamed Woodstock with backup Don Strock. Signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers but had issues. May he rest his soul. He had some big moments in a short career.

Adds to glaring mismanagement with Les.

Nah, Les moved him to receiver after a year.

A lot of players hated Shepard because he didn't take shite seriously at LSU. He was lazy and bought into his own hype out of high school.

Morris Claiborne being a dud definitely surprised me. He’s still on an NFL roster, but nothing kore than depth at this point. A pleasant surprise though was Deion Jones. I mean we knew he was good at LSU even though just a 1 year starter, but he’s been an excellent NFL player. Al woods becoming dependable longtime NFL starter was surprising as welll. And one more I might throw in there purely off longevity would be Alfred blue.

Corey Webster turned out to be a really good cornerback for the Giants. Played a pivotal role in slowing down Moss, during the Patriots dream season.

This. It didn't help he also played defensive end for a while.

Wade was an ok kicker, but a damn good man, and represents LSU extremely well in his post football career.

We did not know how to use him while he was at LSU. Should have had a package just for him on offens. The guy was one of the most dynamic runners I have ever seen in high school. Highlights is explosive as Leonard while in high school and was the #1 rank player coming in that year.

Tyrann Mathieu - because his life was so turbulent when he left LSU it seemed probable that he was going self destruct on drugs and hang with the wrong crowd. Hats off to him for turning his life around. What an inspiration to young kids today to see what can be accomplished.
