Under the logic that there’s no difference between a supreme and cheese could be applied to any restaraunt. What’s the difference between a waiter carrying out a catfish plate versus a prime ribeye. The plates weigh the same.

Staying with your premise but same exact dish at different times of day. If I order the lunch special for $18 then go back the next night and order the same meal for dinner and its $25. Am I supposed to tip an extra $1.40 for the $7 upcharge dinner that is the same as the lunch the day before. Yes, it's only $1.40 and will have no impact on my life. But why is the time of day I eat, require additional tip as the food was the same. And yes, I typically tip 20% but I remember when 10% was norm, then 15% and now 20%. I've been to places that have suggested tip of 30% and that just boggles my mind.

I think tips should be based on how long you occupy the table and servers time not the cost of what you ordered.

I always tip $10. I'm willing to pay $10 to have someone bring my food. And I usually get the same guy. Good kid that rushes my stuff.

The delivery fee is more like 5 or 6. A large one topping from PJ delivered runs about an extra $10-12 after fee and tip.
Also carrot often has deals. Got a large 2 topping and picked it up for 9.93 today.

$5 is too much in my opinion. If I paid $30 for the pizza, I'm tipping $3. The pizza place is only about 2.5 miles from me and is a straight shot, though.

Very trashy for someone who brags anonymously online about how much money they make
