We will need it against South Carolina next weekend.

That’s how they need to be treating this game. Basically prepare for the most hostile environment and prepare like you’re playing Bama. I know they sucked in week one but if You go into Columbia with your heads up your arse they’ll embarrass you.

Carolina sucks for sure but they aren’t slap dick U. They are a very loyal and proud fanbase that will be up for LSU

But I don't think Nuss himself has enough experience to forfeit snaps to others just yet. He was very good last week, but he still has work to do on his pre-snap reads and seeing the whole field.

Agree. I wouldn’t hate to see Nuss still in there late into the 3rd while up 50

He has to be ready for a road game. If Vegas sounded loud then you’re in for a rude awakening in Carolina

That, and they always get someone, even when they are bad. Don't let it be us.

I’m not sure that anything we see will be quite as meaningful as we’d like considering the opponent, but they still need to execute.

The thing I’d look for most is the underclassmen to show up and get quality minutes and also quality production. Personally, I’m thinking of Woodland, Spears, Durham, and guys like Green and maybe even Reliford.

I’d also throw Suggs into the conversation even though he’s an older guy. One more thing, even though Daniels had a good day blocking against USC, he needs to emerge as a receiver, and the Nicholls game would be a good time to start

We aren’t playing against Nicholls we are playing to the LSU standard. It shouldn’t change based on opponent. They should operate the exact same Saturday as they would at Kyle Field vs A&M or at home Vs Bama.

By the second half, Durham and Ju'Juan should get the bulk of the caries to get them ready for the SEC if need be.

Not only that but we cannot afford to lose williams or Jackson to injury.

I want to see Nuss have a little more patience in the pocket and get past the first read. I want him to set his feet for once.

How much 12 personnel we use and how much we ask Pimpton and/or Green to block.

I’ll be quite concerned if don’t adjust

I’d like to see us establish a run game on offense. I’d like to see the defense dominate the overmatched opponent.

No unsportsmanlike penalties.

I’d also like to see Kyren Lacy and Major Burns benched the entire game for disciplinary reasons.

Starters on the field for at least 3 quarters. Play the young ones in the 4th if you want to. The team needs to be successful as a starting unit and laying down 35 points with a mixture of the ground game and air will boost confidence. Let the defense damn near shut them down for the same reasons above.

I’m going to watch it because we wait so long for football season and I love to see LSU out there, but I never can place any emphasis on anything during these charity games.

At least 1 designed QB run. Get it on film so other teams have to consider accounting for him.

Deep passes with as many WRs as possible.

• Less mental mistakes
• Finish drives. NO FIELD GOALS!
• Offensive line blowing their D-line back
• Pressure. Sacks. More pressure.

Attack the middle of the field in the passing game. Taking out the INT on the last play, LSU attempted 2 passes all game in between the hashes.

If the safeties are deep, go underneath, if they're walking up, go over the top. Offensive passing game needs to use the whole field. This was one of the biggest leaps for Daniels between 2022 and 2023.

Literally nothing. This game doesn’t tell anything. USCe will tell us 100x more.
