I’m a little bummed they’re so bad. The only game we can attend this year and won’t see a lot of first team. At least for long.

It’s sad what happened since the hurricanes in one year. They never recovered.
Had tons of damage and took them years to rebuild some of the athletic facilities. Lost a ton of ground in recruiting and had two straight coaches that left for better roles that set them back.
Viator is back but he can only do so much. That was such a proud program and tough place to play, but in the nil world I don’t know if they will ever get back to what they were.

I want to see Sam and Eugene Wilson's connection start to develop. Get Sam out after 3 or 4 series and get Clark some work. Let Dillion rest and get Durham and Berry the bulk of the carries.

They are already bad, but on top of the their QB got injured a couple weeks ago and is out for the year. Was actually playing decent. Their backup was actually their starter last year. We will most likely win by 60+. One of those games that you're not even trying to run up the score, but then you executive an inside zone perfectly against their smaller, less athletic front 7, and you're gone for 6.
Hoping to see some fresh faces flash from the skill positions. I'm imagining a couple big runs from Harlem and Durham to possibly ignite some confidence to getting them more playing time. Think they could unlock a home run ability in the run game and allow Dilin to not have to carry 20+ times in close games. Different style of running to throw at defenses, too.

NIL is destroying a lot of college football programs. They simply cannot compete against the big boys. The big boys with lots of money.

It really pisses me off to see that games like this are still on the schedule in 2026..Yeah i know the smaller schools need the payday. That should never factor into it. If LSU wants to subsidize McNeese or Nicholls football, then go ahead and cut them a fricking check. Or tell the small schools to have a bake sale, whatever. FFS Don't waste a Saturday in October for an exhibition level scrimmage. Rant over.
