What day would LSU start if we make it to Omaha?

Not 100% but the way the brackets are layed out is how they fall into the CWS bracket. Seems as if we will be the second day as we are on the bottom side of the bracket. Top side is games one and two on day one. Bottom side is 3 and 4 on day 2 rinse and repeat

They’ve already set up the brackets for Fri/Sat starts.
Duke/Murray vs UTSA/UCLA won’t be the night game.
I can’t remember the last time LSU didn’t open on Saturday night in this format/schedule.

Completely different atmospheres.
Opening weekend is a blast and usually the toughest tickets of the week. A lot of energy around town. All 8 fanbases. I think it’s the best of the CWS. First timers need to go opening weekend.
The final weekend is all baseball. More LSU fans, but smaller crowds around town overall. Of course, watching LSU dogpile is priceless.

College World Series of Omaha, Inc. will host a free 75th-anniversary party at the Riverfront on Thursday, June 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. with live music, food trucks, and a fireworks finale to set the stage for the CWS.

Not quite clear but LSU, by playing last in super regionals, would be one of last to punch ticket to Omaha giving fans a bit of disadvantage in securing tickets and travel arrangements.
