THIS....and have the SEC offices stand up and "fight" the networks, for at least ONE descent SEC home game at nite ! That's OUR tradition and that seems to be the most IMPORTANT thing to the conference.....can we get one bone thrown to us ???

Somehow change the current fan culture of believing that only 1 game all year matters, and anything outside of a NC and/or beating Bama isn't worth worrying about?

Honestly I think tv and ticket prices are the issue. Every game is on tv so the average fan who loves the Tigers can stay home now while the people who don't care as much about the game and can afford to go are only there to socialize.
Oh and get better food. It's horrible.

yeah, more night games would be better. day games bore me if they aren't extremely competitive.

More seat room, cellular service so I can check the scores of other games, a smoking section, and I think asking to serve beer is too much. It will never happen.

Play better teams. Our schedule sucks: Towson, North Texas, and Idaho.
Play a more exciting brand of football. Winning with all defense and no offense is just so frustrating. Combine frustration with alcohol and I'm so pissed by the 4th quarter that I just don't care to watch anymore.
Better food, more tvs, less advertising and nicer bathrooms.

Well, I do stay to the end almost always, although I will occasionally leave sometime in the final 5 minutes of a complete blowout game. However, in general, scheduling better games would be a plus. These kickoff games we take part in most years are fine and all, but I'd prefer if we were playing a good OOC team like TCU in Tiger Stadium like originally planned, and I'd rather travel to see them in their home stadium rather than Jerry World.
Also though, while I hate seeing people leave in the 3rd quarter when I know that I have friends that have loved to have had their tickets, I hate it when people act like this is a problem specific to LSU. We're far better about this than most places. Alabama never fills their student section to begin with and lots of them leave early. Texas A&M students leave early too, although admittedly their student section is gigantic and that may be a part of it.

I have never left a game early, nor have my friends. We tailgate from 7am til gametime and have the time of our lives at the game.
The gameday experience from start to finish is unbeatable.
Change nothing for us. We're there for LSU first and everything else second.
The reason many fans leave early has nothing to do with anything LSU can control.

This. I want my Trev Faulk jersey back.

Give the most vocal Ranters a chance to suit up and come on to the field for one play mid-way through the 4th quarter. They will wear number "69" jersey, and have their "best rant" or "the rant of their choice", displayed on the stadium scoreboard for their play.

Fan police threads are the best
they are pretty funny. i guess i'm not a "real fan" (whatever that means) because i have left a blowout to go to the bar or whatever else the night had in store.
