He hasn’t played football in 3 months not 2 years. The rant spin is always fricking insane.
I said hasn’t really played in 2 years. Why did you argue with a stat from 3 years ago? You’re the one with the spin.
I was trying to be nice and not say he mailed it in after he secured a high draft pick, but that’s exactly what he did. He played not to get hurt when he did play after 2019. That’s soft.

No “we people” are tired of have people like you tell us we should support kids who come to LSU and then are just here for their personal goals
You guys are such jokes. And you’re too stupid to realize it. What do you think the kid majoring in engineering or English or business or biology is coming to LSU to do?
They’re coming to get a degree and achieve their personal goals. They don’t come here to advance LSU’s legacy. LSU’s legacy is a result of their hard work.
So why is it different with football players. They don’t come here to play school. They come to play football because the need a place to showcase their talent to the NFL. They did that very well in 2019 and LSU reaped a lot of rewards from it. What else does stingley owe LSU? What LSU made off that season paid for everything LSU gave the players in 2019 and then a bunch in their pocket. LSU is better off because he came to LSU.
If he’d have been draft eligible in ‘19 he’d have been a top 5 pick with around 35 million in guaranteed money. He’d have left if the rules said he could have. Who honestly cares if he didn’t play the last 2 seasons. Would LSU have won any more games? Would it have mattered if they did?
shite what if stingley is the difference between just 6 wins and 8 and Ed O is still the coach? Would you be happy then?

Above Ben Simmons, but closer to him on the comparison line than to P squared, TM7, et al

Didn’t really play enough for LSU enough to really think about one way or another, He’s just another player going into the draft that’s it

I am sure he is a fine young man looking out for his best interest, as he should.
About LSU football, just did not see him on the field enough for him to be a factor for the team.

Why are people like you LSU fans? WTF do you mean who cares? I care you moron and I don’t give Shitt about each and every players personal welfare. LSU is my concern and if players don’t care about PLAYING for LSU then they should not be on the team. Why this is so confusing for you bleeding heart types is beyond me but LSU’s needs come before Stingley’s or Ricks’, etc.

What are your feelings about Stingley?
His athletic ability helped LSU win a NC in 2019 and his attitude helped lead the program to where it is today.

His biggest contribution to LSU was being the #1 overall recruit and bringing a little shine to the recruiting class.

How is having foot surgery "quitting on the team"?

Pretty much what everyone else has said. Thanks for the one season where you gave a shite Derek
Won’t be anyone special in terms of players you look back at years later and say yea that guy had heart and put his mark on the program. He’s just not that guy. Could’ve been the GOAT, but chose not to be.

I really wanted to like Stingley. He did some great stuff for us. Not sure if was him leaving early this year or the whole season in general but have lost any positive feelings for him.

He played in. November of 2020. That isn’t 3 years ago. You fricking moron.
That isn’t 2 full seasons ago.

He literally played injured. The rant is obsessed with CBS tackling like LBs and outside TM7 none of them do that.
He also went after the coaches to let him shadow Smith last season when he could have camped out on Metchie all game and given up 0 yards.
