Have you ever been to the new upper in the South? I'm wondering if that's high enough that you can see everything?
I haven't yet. I was thinking about it for yesterday's game but I decided against it with the 11 am start.
The only review I've heard is you have to get there early because the line to get up there takes a LONG time. I've seen people waiting in a huge line when I walked into the south endzone gates before.

I sit in 419 as well and the shade during day games that the new south upper provides is glorious!

The only part of the South covered is the very top of the bottom level of the South endzone. The second level hangs over a little bit. Nowhere else in the South is covered from rain. It would have to be blowing in pretty hard from the South and get blocked by the new upper deck but that is pretty unlikely. A normal rain and you're getting it. But the new South upper provides a ton of shade for the second level of the South endzone during afternoon games.

The uppers really aren’t bad either to be honest with you as long as you’re in The first 40 rows.
The west uppers only have 22 rows I believe. The east is a little higher but still less than 40. My seats are in the WU, right behind the yellow chair backs. I prefer the view much better than the north/south endzones. The atmosphere is better in the bowl though.

What about section 305 on the visitors side?

I sat in 303 for Utah St game, great seats

How’s the atmosphere up there? I’ll be in row 2 of the yellow chair backs in the west upper. Never been in the uppers for a game and sorta regret that I won’t be able to experience the full noise and atmosphere. Hope it’s still a good experience though

Those are great seats and you will enjoy the atmosphere. It still gets loud. Also have an elevator as opposed to walking a bunch of ramps. Uppers definitely have their advantages.
And for season tickets holders that don’t have donations, I can upgrade on a game by game basis and move down to a 100 level for an extra $25/ticket instead of a $1000 donation.

It was a typo. It was supposed to be the first 4 rows because that's my preference if I'm sitting in the uppers and I've always liked that view better than farther up.

Front row on the Tiger Terrace is pretty nice.

I might be in the minority but I like the E or W upper between the 20s. I like being able to see the whole field and watch plays open up.
