8-4 with all 4 losses coming out of conference. 8-0 sec regular season then win sec championship game and force the playoff committee to include a 4 loss sec champ in the playoffs

I came away a fan of JD after last night in how he did what he had to in order to bring the team back, but this argument doesn’t hold water. FSU went pure prevent and the passes he completed were all underneath the over the top shell with the exception of the last pass.

I said that we were a couple key injuries/suspensions away from a 5-7/6-6 type season. I still feel the same way.
This team's ceiling was always 8-4. Anyone who thought otherwise was delusional. LSU's program was headed towards an all time low and it is going to take multiple seasons to have us being competitive for the 2 spot in the west.

We beat Southern, New Mexico, and UAB.
I give us a shot against Auburn, although it’s on the road, and maybe Mississippi State (although I think they beat us), Ole Miss*, and Texas A&M, also on the road.
*I really didn’t watch any of Ole Miss over the weekend, so I’m not too familiar with them. Kiffin and his offense is a cause for concern though.
So, 3-7 wins…leaning towards 4, maybe 5.
Mississippi State looked pretty good, and I think Rogers has the ability to torch us. Other than Bigsby, Auburn didn’t impress me. A&M looked very average.

May not win an SEC game. Going to be skull dragged big time by most SEC teams. 3-9 or 4 - 8, if we win at AU (but TJ may have 5 TDS against this defense).
This season may make last year look like 2019.
AND the COACHES are going to be a BIG part of the blame too. The team was TOTALLY unprepared to play last night and the 3rd Quarter was abysmal.
It show the coaches are BAD at preparations, game day and adjustments. Denbrook may be the ultimate nepotism hire by BK and totally out of his league. And the DC looks in over his head as do most of the assistants. Right now it is a $100 Million scam.
This season may make last year look like 2019.
