Said LSU didn't earn win, GA let them win. Turned down several chances to complement LSU. Did he leave on bad terms? Jay shoot his dog?

I can’t believe he doubled down on it. Very strange to see a coach act that way. Jay Johnson almost always makes a point to give the other team credit.
He was very salty. I did not expect that from him.

At some part late in the season, Jay started taking over & was the coach walking out to the mound for conferences. Recall several tv shots of WJ just sitting on the bench. During the CWS he seldom if ever left the bench. Got the impression Jay was not pleased with the way the pitchers were developing. When he left, all was happy & best wishes. But not a hard stretch to say his leaving was mutual ???

Just got his arse absolutely kicked and you could tell it looked like the moment was a little too big for him going against his old team and coach.

Jay still does the mound visits for the most part it seems, so I wouldn’t put too much stock in that observation.

Lol. Jay does the mound visits when he changes pitchers. Yeskie makes them otherwise. Wes Johnson wasn’t making any mound visits later in the postseason.
Of course the short term memory idiots were shitting on Yeskie a couple weeks ago and wishing we had the great Wes Johnson back.

I believe I recall some time last season Coach JJ saying something to the effect that Wes and him felt so close, like brothers. I know I didn’t dream this. Apparently it turned a 180, wow.

Did we just knock poor little uggah out of a top 8 National seed?

I believe Jay started taking all mound visits when Wes started negotiating/ interviewing for the Georgia job.

I can confirm Wes left on good terms. I wouldn’t call them best friends like Jay is with Nick Mingione, but they still have a good relationship.

It never was close. If we had come through in multiple bases loaded situations early, we would have easily run ruled them.

Dude was in the drivers seat for a top 8 seed then drops the series to Florida and gets knocked out on Day 1 of SEC tourney. Yeah, he’s a little salty right now. Nothing to do with JJ.

Salt oozing out of his pores.
