The USL governors( Landry, Blanco and Jindal) only show up for the national championships at LSU.

No noticeable boos inside the stadium

I didn't know Jindal went to USL. I thought he went to school out of state.

Could have done without him being there the same way I could have done without the douchebag that preceded him being at the last one.

He didn’t go to USL. He went to Brown and Oxford smarter than those other clowns listed

I’m Republican. Landry is a kook.

I’m a republican
I’ll take a quote from my Vietnam Vet father about LBJ to describe how I feel about Landry…”I wouldn’t piss on that man if his eyes were on fire”.

Jeff Landry is such an assclown. ASSCLOWN.

Unless a politician happens to be directly related to the sport at LSU - or at the very least - an LSU alum - they really have no business being at these things.
LA Governor literally appoints the members of the LSU board of Supervisors. LSU can't not include him. Have to take the good with the bad. This night was about the baseball team, and the fact that some fans can't rise above a Governor's words for these kids is more concerning.

Yep. The politics are disgusting. Get away from it for a few years and you really grasp the depth of the dysfunction.
I was away from it for almost 20 years before moving back. Guess what... Politics and BS are not just a Louisiana thing.

Yep. Sid Edwards on the other hand was at least relatable. He did well. Said the right things.
He was a terrible governor just like Landry
When is the last time Louisiana had a good governor?

If I were governor of my home state of Louisiana, I would be at this celebration too... BUT I would not be on stage as if I contributed in some form of fashion.
Posted on 6/26/25 at 6:36 am to TigerFan244
Man, I hope so honestly.
Posted on 6/26/25 at 6:48 am to TigerFan244
Politicians shouldn’t be at these celebrations unless it’s Kip (rip)

This. I had dinner with a guy from Chicago last night. Our politicians are amateurs compared to theirs and may even be dumber.
