I guess you could say I'm still optimistic, but it sure does hurt losing a key starter on offense and defense.
Sam and the offensive line are what they are, but I trust Kiffin to make the most of them. Hope we're running back two steps up

We play an A&M team who has more issues than we do. I feel better about the A&M game coming off a loss than I would coming off an emotional comeback win.
Before Clemson the consensus was we wanted to go 3-1 in September. That’s still the plan!

I sure hope Baker is seeing all these comments on Reed and getting burned again.
Maybe put a fire in his arse to have all 11 dudes going after Reed like their lives depend on it.

It certainly doesn't setup well for us, I'll say that.
A&M is pissed off, LSU is injured and tired coming off an emotional game with a lot of fatigue and injuries. A&M dominated in Baton Rouge last year against the DC we have now.

Shouldn't we be pissed off too? From what I understand, didn't A&M's starting RB go down? I'm definitely concerned about Marcel Reed exploiting Blake Baker's defense again, but if Kentucky could slow him down, why can't we? If we lose to A&M, I'm afraid that the wheels may start to come off and we could be looking at an 8-4 or 7-5 type season.

If we lose to AM then it would be a minor miracle to finish at 8-4.
