Why doesn't mainieri let a pitcher bat? I seem to remember Eades could rake in HS. I understand HS is not the same, but you gotta wonder why they just won't let him try with how our bats have been struggling. Blake dean came to LSU as a pitcher and turned out to be a really good hitter. I'm not saying let Eades bat full time either. I think he could do both. I remember Stephen head doing it for Ole Miss a few years ago.

I also know I'm a fan and don't see practice so maybe he has taken some practice at-bats and he wasn't doing as much as some other guys. This isn't a.hate on mainieri post.

Just want to know if anyone has ever asked mainieri this at a coach's meeting. Russian? Josh, Lester?

Infield: Ross, Snikeris, Didier, Yocom, Powell, Moore, Dozar?

Outfield: Fields, Sciambra, Katz, Edward, Slaid?

Heard on radio that 9 position players are available, so 3* of the above must be sick?

Wonder what lineup PM will roll out tonight, given that they play. How's the weather looking around campus?

Weather is looking better. Hasn't rained in downtown BR for at least an hour.

Only healthy starters are Aaron Nola, Katz, Ross, and Sciambra I believe.

well slaid hasnt hit a ball hard since the first weekend. he'll probably still play a lot against lefties but against righties i'd definitely prefer dozar at the moment.
