Best looking combo with gold pants and gold helmets.

Tradition is important... so don't change the helmets. The tradition of the white at home is played out.

Our school colors are purple and gold.. PERIOD.

Not purple, gold.... and white.

Growing up in Tiger Stadium in the 80's and 90's, the purple jerseys always looked fantastic.

No. Why would you mess with one of the most iconic uniforms in college football?

The white at home tradition has been going on for about 15 years. Iconic?

I know it will never happen, but this is the best uniform we've ever worn:

How old are you, pwjr88? White jerseys go back 60 years, except for a brief period when the NCAA required dark jerseys at home. The rules were later changed specifically because LSU pushed to be allowed to go back to the traditional home whites.

Neauxp. You couldn't be more wrong. Purple jerseys look almost high school/SWAC. No thanx.

We started wearing white in 1958 the first year we ever won a National Championship. They are a timeless look. They've looked good for the last 60 years and they will look good for the next 60 years. As far as I'm concerned they are a continuous tribute to that first championship team. It's also just one more thing that sets us apart at home, like yard lines marked every 5 yards and different colored end zones. Louisiana is weird and so is LSU. Once a year for a non premier game is ok for the purple jerseys. But LSU football is played in those beautiful white jerseys.

More like 60 years or more. They started wearing them in the 1950s.

I’m not an advocate of making fun of special needs kids so I’ll just refrain and downvote.

Will admit I didn't know this.

Makes me like the white more.

But I still prefer the purple
