They really haven’t been lately. The first home game regardless of the opponent is white. And the non conference home games they have been wearing alternates

Why has nobody ever visualized LSU wearing the traditional gold helmets, traditional purple jerseys, and white pants? I'm convinced that would look marvelous, but.... it's never been tried, but why not?
And.... I stand by my word. Purple jerseys for road games or bowl games, exclusively... there's no place for them in Tiger Stadium.
