The difference between “should have been” and “were” is $8 million per year.

Physical is in the culture or is not.

Looks like not.

If we are winning, he is barely tolerable. If we are losing, every thing this guy does grates on me.

Of course. Just more meaningless coachspeak.

But why Ed? Why were you not more physical on both sides of the ball?
What were you doing the last 2 offseasons that resulted in this lack of physicality and how are you going to correct it?

Do you even have the beginnings of a plan?

That’s a cop out. It puts it on the desire of players instead of the actual coaching schemes and strategy.

So somebody has to tell Damone that we were playing tackle football, not two hand touch? Is that what I'm to believe?

The natural progression when you’re 5-6 in the last 11 games.

I could believe that O-coached team without the right staff could do and be a lot of things, but I never thought soft would be one of them. Of all the things for a career D Line coach to allow, this one is hard to grasp, but we all saw it. I don’t see how you fix that in-season, either.

Not that I agree with it, but I can see not being aggressive when you're 3-3 going into the matchup against Florida, but how the hell are you not aggressive during the first week of the season? That's arguably when you should be at your most aggressive.

These are his recruits. He bears responsibility for them being on the team (or not), for their development and production, or the lack thereof.

Did they not watch film on UCLA? Did they not scheme for them? Did they not practice?
It was not evident, if they did.

Sick of the excuses. Shoulda woulda coulda. FFS we are the most duped fanbase out there. O needs to figure out how to figure it out. Our new OC and DC ain't gonna cut it.

I was watching Florida State’s defense last night and LSU played with about 1/10 of that intensity. It wasn’t always pretty but those guys were flying around like their lives depended on it. If O can’t get these kids to run through a wall for him, what does he bring to the table?
