Feld gives the impression of being a raging douchebag, but he'd be a solid hire.

Saban's team isnt injury plagued.

They have had 2 serious injuries to their Defense in the last 3 weeks. Football is a contact sport. Injuries are part of the game. I think the S and C coach should be more to blame for our Trench guys getting manhandled.

The amount of injuries suffered by this team in camp and since season started is off the charts! Is it bad luck or bad preperation?

We aren't having a higher rate of "serious" injuries than anybody else IMO. We're not having a rash of ACL or broken bones or anything else that aren't controllable

What we do have is a sizable number of players each week who are "banged up" and unavailable to play. Add that in with the academic issues, and the missing players week to week from undisclosed suspensions, and it's easy to see why it looks like a chinese fire drill on the field each week. It's impossible to built continuity anywhere when large # of guys are missing practices and games constantly

FYI, The Baltimore Ravens lost 6 key starters during the pre-season. Several were season ending injuries that happened during non-contact drills. Does that mean the Ravens S&C coach should be fired ?

What's been going on in Baltimore is what I would consider "mind boggling". I think it's more a sign of their practice load being too much during training camp.

I don’t think getting rid of the guy that Saban has tried to hide away from us multiple times recently is a very good idea.

BS .... Do some homework before you lose even more credibility. All teams suffer injuries ranging from soft tissue, bumps & bruises to season ending requiring surgery. LSU definitely has some nagging injuries this year but none are season ending. I'm definitely not blaming Moffitt for Glen Logan breaking his foot.

In 2018, ALA lost their entire starting LB core due to injuries. Remember when Devonta Smith missed several games because he pulled a hamstring ? Or when Najee Harris sprained his ankle and sat out for precautionary reasons ? What about our favorite LB from BR - Lord Moses who was plagued with knee injuries his entire career and wasn't even drafted ?

Fast-fwd to 2021, where is Camar Wheaton (RB), Chris Allen (LB), Jamar Jobe (DB), Will Anderson (LB) ? Oh, they're all injured and not playing. What about Georgia .... they have suffered 9 injuries this year and it hasn't stopped their on-field performance.

Here is a link you might find useful 2021 CFB injury report

He’s doing the exact same thing as he did for 2019… there’s many coaches who are responsible for the performance on the field now but I promise Moffitt ain’t one.

He’s been the strength coach for 4 teams that have played for national titles & over 100 nfl players

Do y’all think he just forgets what he is doing every 4 years or so? Or does it have to do with 2 coaches that will end up leaving LSU via termination?

Baltimore ravens have 1 super bowl since 2001. We have 3 titles since 2003 and should be 4.

im a huge moffit fan, especially with how he has transitioned and kept up with changing times, but make no mistkae about it...Dr Rhea at bama is better. Bama upgraded big big time of SC who was known for causing injuries.

Moffit isnt the problem though imo, but i dod beleive you allow the new staff to hire whomever they want. If that means TM is gone, oh well. if that means we get the moustache from Oregon(who is also damn good) then so be it. If that means Moffit stays....thats cool too.

what people dont understand is that TM has to follow direction of the head coach. If he wants players focusing on size over speed, he has to program for that and Vice Versa.

Also people need to understand LSU currently has a big big culture issue. the kids are not putting the work in and treating the offseason as a full time job. That is not on Tm, thats on O. TM can only provide a program, provide guidance on technique, provide guidelines for nutrition and provide guidance on recovery. He cant make them do that, especially if there are not consequences coming from the coaching staff.

also one thing that needs to be talked about is...the biggest thing in S&C is consistency. Putting the work in, week in and week out. Well when you have 52 players leave the program lately, you have a big big consistency problem.
