stripped of #18.
I truly hope this ends the "#18" and "#7" crap - it is now an embarrassment & an insult to the original wearers.
Need to retire them for a while then slowly introduce them with no fanfare.

We gambled on Nuss being the guy, and He ain’t. It happens, and it will set us back, a lot!

In reality the #18 needs to be stripped of any sort of lore, status, importance, etc. The significance of it is laughable. 7 as well.

He has always been a very average college QB. Makes the dumbest of throws at times, cant really read defences. He has been here 5 years and just has not progressed at all. He is who he is, and there isnt any debate about that

We may not be good again until 2028. That'll be Peyton Houston's sophomore year, and I truly think he will be great with how video game like his numbers are.
Are we going to keep Sloan so we can keep this QB committed too and wait for him to flip at the last minute?

BK hung his on GN and Evan played him while he was hurt, that’s is what’s coming back to bite him.If he had started MVB and explained that Nuss couldn’t go he wouldn’t be catching so much heat. But unfortunately in the NIL era if you ask boosters for $$$ for a player you better play him.Its a catch 22.Damded if you do , damed if you don’t.

He isn't flat on his back pre snap.

Kelly and Sloan knew that. They wanted Underwood.

Here is what changed from last year- Nuss got paid and all the hype got to his head.
His lazy arse seems to have regressed on the mental side of the game more than physical.
Sloan's play calls are shite, as we know, but Nuss's reads on just about all of them are so bad. It's like he just doesn't give a shite and pre-determines what he is going to do presnap.
He needs to be stripped of #18.
Exactly!

I sure did, I was mistaken. Not sure how significantly the injury has affected him, and it has without a doubt played a part.
But the decision making, there are several decisions that I think are totally unaffected by physical limitations that have really been surprisingly disappointing.

Blake ruffino said Garrett went on a podcast and said he thinks it's dumb to show up to the building at 5am. He also said he watches more film than everyone and learned more about being a QB from Myles Brennan than anybody he's been around. Whoever the guy was that said it's known around the program that garrett coasts through and doesn't put the work in looks to be correct. He's a pompous poser SNS

If you finish 2nd in passing attempts in the country, you should finish 2nd in passing yards. That'd make you an average QB. A good QB finishes ranked ahead of his passing attempts in yards.
We had that many pass attempts because we couldn't run the ball for shite, fell behind in games often and had a three game losing streak, again forcing us to throw the ball. The defense knowing you HAVE to throw the ball on 3rd and 11 is not the same as throwing on 2nd and 5.
I am not at all defending Nuss here, but this logic of passing attempts being an indicator of his performance is flawed.

That sounds right. Both have no chest.

The biggest mistake was fans believing throwing for 4k yards was a sign of good QB play. Reality is, he wasn’t good last year either. Just compiled a lot of meaningless yardage
