That's the part that I just can't get over, nor can I be excited moving any further with Miles.

This game was epic for LSU. We needed this game for so many reasons, and we laid an egg.

Ohio State provided the blueprint to beat Alabama, and I doubt we even looked at that game. Just good ol' smash mouth ground and pound football. We'll beat them in the trenches.

Except we didn't and we got embarrassed again.

LSU vs Ole Miss is a rivalry. LSU vs Bama is not.

Because we got absolutely hammered. Also, it's harder to accept because this is the 5th time in a row.

I don't think we "did nothing". We opened it up in the second quarter, and after the Harris' pic to start the third we just went back into hiding. The staff didn't stick with the plan.

consensus last week was they weren't better...I guess now they are since its easier to defend a loss to a better team right?

Because UGA and Tennessee were able to run the ball to the outside. Ol Piss was able to throw the ball at will (luck involved). What did Miles do? Ran head first into a brick wall over and over.

Other teams showed how to move the ball on Bama. Les failed to prepare his team. He failed to put his team in position to win.

There is one thing that REALLY bothers me offensively with LSU. Its almost like a stubbornness to make in game adjustments. Never saw rb/wr screens. Never saw the angle route with Fournette out of the backfield after the incompletion on it (he had a 10yd gain easy if caught). Never saw counters/stretches. We have one gameplan. When it fails, we're lost.

It's laughable that Alabama went from flawed, undisciplined pussies to the 2013 Seahawks in two weeks.

We could have beaten Alabama. This board just doesn't want to face that reality.

I think the biggest annoyance is that LSU tried to start drives by doing what they always did in anticipation of a long drive down the field. The problem is that you can't do that against Alabama. Les almost never puts his players in position to make big plays and the only time he's done it recently was the 2nd quarter of the Florida game.

Les tried to "get in the groove of things" instead of punching Alabama square in the chin with big plays. Les thought that body blow after body blow would eventually work and get things started and they never did.

That's the most annoying that to me.

That didn't happen. We got out coached by a better coach for the fifth time in a row. This is were the frustration is coming from.

We had a month in 2011/12. Did nothing. Why are you surprised.

We thought the 5th time was a charm.
