After the 1st qtr we threw up bricks and bad shots, and never recovered. Around the rim, mid-range and from 3 - little to nothing. 29.9 FG% & 21.4 3FG% is not going to get it done against ANY quality opponent, let alone arguably the best team in the country on their home floor. USCE Def did step up, and we had no answer for it. Shooting is this teams achilles heel and if they don't improve, they won't last long in March. Lets' get to work.

That one stretch in 3rd quarter where refs called 3 straight questionable fouls on us allowed them to go on the 8-0 run which we never recovered

Y’all keep saying this every year and USC still whoops that tail. At some point you just got to hand it to Dawn, she has the flat out better program with better players. 5-0 against Mulkey is all you need to know.

They took themselves out of the game with all that junk no control basketball. No thinking no game plan just an exhibition of whatever that was. They need discipline, self control and a fricking game plan. This isn’t the wild Wild West.

I was in and out of the room watching that last half of the 3rd qtr and the 4th. Didnt see every possession obviously but seemingly every time I looked up lsu was being called for a foul down low. Fine. They’re calling it tight. but then usc was blocking shots or making steals. Seems a little off to me.
add to that when usc missed shots, lsu had players in position for the rebound but their goons got the rebound, almost over the back each time, but that’s the way the ball bounces I guess.

The game was lost when they went on that 8-0 run. We had back to back to back turnovers paired with poor shot selection.
We still lack depth and size. SC has starters coming off the bench in Johnson and Fulwiley.

Are you kidding? I generally don't give a crap about women's basketball, but I turned it on for a few minutes at the beginning of the second half. Those women can't throw the ball in the ocean. I'm 60 and could round up a few of my middle-aged golf buddies and wipe the floor with them. That's how bad the women's product is.
