That's why I like him so much. He's a freaking monster running the ball.

If we have a running game we will be scary this season. Pettigrew has the potential to be all sec with a good qb.

sounds good

I love my Tigers and I love my Tiger fans

I think 2018 is going to be fun- once we go 3-0 we will all see how things go

I know that most are calling for 1-2 or 2-1

3-0 looks a lot better!

You haven't seen him run in college either how do you know he's elite?

He seems to rely more on skill and effort than raw natural ability

More of a football player than a combine freak

Should make an impact here once he learns the offense

355 Nationally and 15th ranked RB. Solid recruit, but highly IMO would break the Top 100 and Top 5 unless the year is abnormally loaded with RBs. Harold Joiner, who picked AU over us is “highly rather”. Unless you’re calling him elite? IMO elite is a Fournette type talent against other 4-5 stars.

If he was a 2016 senior he probably would have been rated higher. He averaged 11ypc and had something like 8 TD runs of 60+. His SR season he had a nagging injury and poor blocking so a lot of his runs were pile movers. It does seem that the competition he was playing against was not high level. It looks like the DLs are kind of smallish and the LBs and DBs aren't very athletic.

Not to nitpick but noticed he doesn’t like carrying with his left arm maybe saw it once. He will need to do so or the SEC guys will have a good time trying to knock that ball loose when he runs to the left side.

Also anyone know who that rap is by?

never heard of Dairy Queen?

I think the foundation for Curry to be a top (top 7) back in the SEC is there. I doubt it seriously that will happen his freshman year.

But with his attributes if both Robinson coaches him up AND he puts in the work he could be a very good one.

The reason I mention Robinson is because to be a top back in the SEC, he's going to have to modify his style a fair amount. And I'm not even talking about taking a pounding. I'm talking about finding/making holes and knowing when to lay a hit vs. evasion for an extra 3 yds.

Making 4 yds out a 1 yd loss or gaining an extra 3 yds is what being a good RB is. Especially in the SEC. If you can't do that, you won't be productive enough to get carries. Sometimes you have to have just enough wiggle to get a glancing blow and fall forward.

Excited to see who separates themselves at RB this year, I still think CEH will get most of the carries but Curry looks impressive on film to say the least.

yeah he looks like a strong and a hard runner but i really don't see the speed. but then again speed i think is a bit overrated for the power running back position

I’ve been excited to see him as a Tiger RB since the first time I saw his film when he committed. I love a strong runner that moves the chains. Made for the fourth qter.

Jimmy Taylor anyone?
