Not sure but he at least knows the difference between a RPO and a read option.

These are the head scratching plays that show why Sloan got let go from calling plays at LA Tech.

When was he relieved of playcalling duties?

What's funny? It's true. They ran 7 versions of verticle routes. They also only ran 5 defensive plays (using variations)

Find something that works and run it. Because in the immortal words of Joe Brady, "They can't fricking stop it".

Feels like he's lost the locker room and is trying to stay relevant for another couple of games

NO MORE of this "On the job Training" BS at LSU.

Hire only proven and experienced coaches.
_______

Joe Brady says hello. He wasn't OC here, but was the architect of our offensive makeover.

Good coaches always ask this.

This is nothing new.

They’ve also hated every OC they’ve ever had. Bet they’d take him back in a second this yr

We know. It's just that they usually do it before a three game losing streak in which your offense has really struggled. Great coaches are proactive, not reactive.

Payton used to let Brees pick 5-10 plays he liked for the game plan every week, this isn’t weird at all

I think you are talking about a different level of competency here.

Our red zone play calls are pretty awful. We might as well let the players call them.

Burrow was asked what he liked to run when he was at LSU. I don’t recall that happening with running backs though. You can’t argue with the results. The ball came out quicker and Nuss stayed in the pocket.

I would guess year two Daniels also had the same latitude.

Tommy Rees was too creative for his own good which brought a lot of scorn from Bama fans. On 3rd and 1, Bama fans want a 2-yard run and Tommy often went for the 20-yard play…unsuccessfully. His scheme is a modified version of BK’s scheme. I honestly think Tommy will only go back to college coaching for a head coach’s job. He’s filled out his resume to the point where he should easily be considered for non-P4 head gigs.
