So what? Alleva deserved to be fired.
He hired our HC because he was butthurt, not because he thought he was the best man for the job.

The Jimbo contract is horrible - I don’t know how you can defend it. Hopefully we don’t need to make any big3 hires for a while.
O and WW are definitely safe for a while, and I know I’m in the minority on here but I have faith in CPM

Orgeron has worked but it’s his credit. The firing/hiring process since late 2015 to when O was announced officially was a disaster.

Woodward hired Jimbo at the direction of a large influential alumni base and other boosters. He was directed by this group to go get Jimbo no matter what it took and to not let him get away. A client of mine in East Texas was one of the people in this group. Woodward didn’t select Jimbo, this group along with a select few in the school choose him. Woodward simply did his job as he was told. Could be that is why he was looking to move on-that is pure speculation on my part.

That AD we fired is taking credit for fricking up the hiring and coaching search. He only interviewed Herman and O. Don't believe for a second his drivel about he could have hired Herman. It was no secret that Texas was Herman's dream job. Herman very well and probably was coming here......until the Texas job opened on friday. Everything changed then, he can spin that, he wasn't going into a bidding war but that is bullshite. We could have offered 7 million and he was still going to Texas. While at the time I didn't think O was a good hire and I did think he would fail. I am very very happy to admit I was dead arse wrong. O has hit it out of the park. My issue was how JA conducted a coaching search that went on for 2 full months. The fact that he interviewed only 2 people and only one not on the current staff is dereliction of duty IMO.
