100 degree heat with full pads going wide open for 60 minutes.

19 play drive to open the second half was the tipping point. Also heard nobody took IV's at half...

Maybe Chaisson should have taken more of Texas' water for the other guys on the team.

Gotta put the facts out there. Not taking anything away from the biggest win in years. These kids played their guts out, great effort. Just pointing out a couple of the biggest non player liabilities.

Yeah but I'm not starting for a football team that wants to compete for a national championship.

I could not understand why we were cramping yet the Texas players were not. Both teams practice in heat.

People.....enough with the cramping nonsense. it was 100° plus yesterday in Austin, it is going to be 100° plus today...this isn't Louisiana heat. This is a whole different type of suck. 50% of the "cramps" were just players gaming the offense so that UT couldn't get in to rhythm more than they already were. Think about this also, LeBron James had cramping issues playing indoors at low 90° temps.

Well if this is a tactic, it needs to stop. It makes us look like a bunch of bitches, rolling around on the ground after every play.

True. That means Texas offense was out there longer as well and yet they did not cramp.

Wonder if this had anything to do with their inability to stop TX, especially with leaving the QB untouched for virtually the entire game. Make sense? Every action has an opposite an equal reaction. If the TX offense is on the bench, the LSU defense is not on the field. Get it?

man, our D was gassed. tejas held the ball more for over 8 minutes more; all in the second half. and this was in upper 90's heat.

Sounds like our defense needs to force a punt if they want a breather. Our defense being on the field too long was 100% the fault of our defense. Get a stop!!!

Do they? LSU has a beautiful indoor practice facility .. do we ever practice in heat? I’m not sure , but maybe Texas practices outdoors.. at least that’s what i was thinking while at the game last night.. It’s great that we have awesome facilities, but would be nice to mix in outdoor practices if we dont already, maybe like 50% of them outdoors during the moments of August would help our endurance.

Lsu practiced outside in the heat this week to prepare for the game. I think some players just dont understand what hydrate means. They need to start on Thursday. U can lead a horse to water but can’t make it drink. It might have to do with intelligence. They don’t listen so.....

Someone in another forum mentioned the need for a 3 day super hydration process to prepare the LSU players for the extreme dry heat during gametime. Just wondering if LSU medical staff did that. If not, the medical staff should have to be kicked in the butt as they should know better.

The Longhorns did not have that problem, and looked good. I believe there are multiple reasons, including the efficient LSU offense with quick strikes and scores that kept the TX defense in for shorter periods, and the grueling long TX drive in the top of the second half that somehow changed the complexion of the LSU defense.

I would not rule out some of the LSU "injuries" were faked, although I believe most are REAL.

Stfu dude your stupid and this post is stupid. Think about it for a second we run a high tempo offense when you run a high tempo offense the downfall will and always will be your defense has to go right back out there so fast and 2 guys that came off the field was not because of cramps (divinity and Lawrence) these were actual injuries

What you drink during the game does not have nearly as much impact as the couple of days before.

Hope fully our guys are not drinking beer and eating wings Wednesday and a Thursday nights. Some no doubt are.

Matt Flynn’s drink and the other mixes with 4x electrolytes as Gatorade need to be in the mix
