If this makes you mad, you aren't ready to win championship.

Hype ain't history.
Fact is the history ain't good.
Fact is, this is who Lane is.
All blow and no go.
Win the media troll award, lose the games that matter.
People buy the Hype and gloss over the big losses, every team that hired Lane thought their program would bring out that legendary coach that is hidden inside the troubled man.

The fact is, there is no great hidden coach inside Lane, just waiting for the big team to hire him.
It was our great arrogance, that being LSU would make Lane the great coach we all knew was in there.

Fact is, there is no great coach in him.
He is what he has shown us for 20 years

These posts are silly and worthless. Let him build a body of work. Then judge.

Everyone in America said 2-3 losses. You are going off idiots on a message board chatter.

This is ridiculous. Since he joined Bama onward his career has been nothing but an upward trajectory. Anyone who says otherwise is just lying to themselves. He has had major success at every job Bama moving forward including his 2 HC jobs before LSU.

He objectively did a great coaching job at Ole Miss. This can't be disputed.

Shut up bitch.

The loss was a gut punch, the overreaction by retards is something else entirely…

DeBoer at bama got dog walked by vandy in his first year…LSU has lost 2 games on the road in the SEC by an average of 4.5 points….relax

It doesn't even really matter, him being offensive minded was never the issue. Both of his HC stints before LSU were great success. Even at the smaller program he helped rebuild them. He's not the same coach he was 20 years ago. Anyone who thinks that is just telling themselves that to lie because it's objectively wrong.

Kiffin has already overachieved with an offense with lots of mediocre players. He's losing games because his DC is underachieving. It's not all on Baker, sure, but the man is the highest paid DC in the country and you can never rely on him in big moments to get you a stop. If Kiffin has done anything bad it's that he tried to trust his DC here and I can about guarantee you won't be seeing that the rest of the season.

I'm all for that, but we are so far removed from DBU it's barely visible in the rear view mirror. Just too conservative and too soft. No excuses for not playing straight up man, unless you have zero confidence in your CB's, that's a recruiting problem, or zero confidence in your secondary coaches, and that's fireable solution.

Maybe Lane on thrives in low expectation environments. Ole Miss certainly has lower expectations than Tenner, USC, the Raiders or LSU.

Your 2 - 3 losses were supposed to be to Bama Texas and Ole Miss. Not freaking Kentucky against a coach coaching his 6th game ever. Lmao
