Hell yes!

Maybe against florida they can actually turn a few of those into first downs and dare I say score one more TD.

I wonder what the dickheads were saying September 26th, 2000.

It probably sounded like the same shite.

The problem is that people can whine and cry about how this is the end of the world, but when it's proven that it's not the end of the world, the criers don't have to own up to their words, they just disappear.

It's downright cowardly.

Neither does throwing incomplete passes. Running it and getting 3 and outs are better than throwing. Running runs clock. Missed passes don't. Our qbs were way off on Saturday.

You are 100% correct, but you can't talk to these clowns on here.....they don't want to hear anything positive, or anything that may right the ship....they want misery, and want to be able to gripe and complain. I don't hear anyone talking about Alabama only scoring 10 points against Ole Miss.

My eternal brain buster is why all these rantards think they know something about coaching,We and they should all be grateful they don't get their wishes !

No, I was there. The stuff being said now was being said in 1998 & 1999.

again...you keep saying this as if you are some genius that knows more about coaching than our coaching staff. OK expert, how many of those runs were a result of BH taking off too early, instead of remaining in the pocket and passing. BTW, from the results of his passing, they were probably wise to run the ball.

He shouldn't lie either. If someone ask him a question that he doesn't have a good answer to do like Sean Payton and don't answer it and say "Next question"

You just don't get it.

The same shite is said by pretty much the same people every single fricking year.

Yes, after LSU lost to UAB, LSU fans were saying it was the end of the world.

We are 2-26 on third down conversions, both by penalty, in SEC play.

Even if the defense played moderately well, they'll never overcome that.

We are giving up TDs 9 out of 10 times in the red zone, too.

Miles should have followed Muschamp's lead this week and cancelled his presser.

We ran the ball on 3rd down too. I understand the goal was to insulate Harris using the running game, however it should have been obvious much sooner that our defense couldnt hold.

after the first series where we went 3 and out, and gave up the FG, i told my wife if they keep playing that conservative on offense, its going tobe 0-17 in a heartbeat.

10 min later i was proven right.

He's right. Once the freshman learn the playbook, sky's the limit!

Why does anyone think this is better...?

1st and 10 at LSU 20 Brandon Harris run for 5 yds to the LSU 25 7 24
2nd and 5 at LSU 25 Brandon Harris pass incomplete to Malachi Dupre
3rd and 5 at LSU 25 Harris, Brandon pass incomplete to Quinn, Trey, PENALTY AUBURN personal foul (Ruffin, Nick) 15 yards to the LSU40, NO PLAY, 1ST DOWN LSU. for a 1ST down
1st and 10 at LSU 40 Brandon Harris pass incomplete to Connor Neighbors
2nd and 10 at LSU 40 Brandon Harris pass incomplete to Travin Dural
3rd and 10 at LSU 40 Brandon Harris pass incomplete to John Diarse, broken up by Joshua Holsey
4th and 10 at LSU 40 Jamie Keehn punt for 41 yds, punt out-of-bounds at the Aub 19

If you can't make completions, you're just better off running the ball.

We have had two 3rd down conversions combined in our first two SEC games.

You realize too, I assume, that both State and Auburn took their foot off of the gas. Either team could have broken 50 on us if they wanted to.

When your freshman quarterback mans up and says he missed throws and caused the offense to stumble you might want to listen more and talk les.

Check out the Tiger Tracks Film Room breakdown. It says otherwise:
quote:

Another rough day, similar to the one had in the loss to Mississippi State. We charted nine whiffs (or tackles/plays that should have been made but were missed and led to a big gain). Six of those came from the front seven. Reserve DE Tashawn Bower had two whiffs, most notably the one below on Nick Marshall’s touchdown run.

quote:

The line didn’t have its best night, especially with pass protection. We charted four blips during pass-pro, two of those on right guard Ethan Pocic. Elliott Porter and Pocic seemed to struggle for much of the night, and Jerald Hawkins had a rough night, too, with four blips, one in pass-pro.

Maybe because by the time we started passing we were down by 17 freaking points and we were asking a true freshmen QB to get us back in the game.

Any good coach would have started off the game with short, easy passes to get Harris' confidence up. But running the damn ball 3 straight times, going 3 and out, sends the message to Harris that the coaches have no confidence in him.
