He's also cherry picking a comment when Serna was struggling on when I consistently said he'd get better as a freshman. There's no "gotcha" because nothing I said was incorrect.
It's not a coincidence this team is historically bad for LSU and I stick to what I said - none of these portal players would start anywhere else in the SEC. I'm not even sure DarDar is good enough for the bottom tier SEC teams because he's not good enough for the one he's on...which is at the bottom. Nobody knows what Moore would've did. I agree, he probably would've helped but we can only speculate. 1 for how many portal guys? That's not going to cut it. Simpson, Caraway, Yorke, etc. were massive whiffs especially Simpson. I'd even say DarDar was a whiff coming in thinking he'd be better.

Just because you cant see it, doesnt make it true. And moore pitched pretty damn well in the big 12, a team that just won the conference. He absolutely can pitch in the sec.
Dardar has an .821 ops in sec play while battling injury.
He dominated the big 12 last year. Lol

Maybe I’m wrong, but it seems like the nil era makes it hard to be consistently at the top. Look at Vanderbilt this season, although vandy may be getting hurt like some of the other privates. Recruiting goes on while Omaha teams are in the mix for deep runs. UCLA this season is an exception, but how much of that is dumb luck on such a huge sophomore class last year carrying them? LSU should never be this down, but the whole country seems more up and down year to year.

I mean, he has been pretty awful with his glove as Bide has been too. They both need heavy development here.
I don’t disagree with you on that. But you said he’s not even close to being ready and then like a week later he became to best hitter on the team lol

He sure didn't dominate for LSU this year even before injury. He has a .263 BA. Early to mid season he could not lay off the balls out of the zone. He's getting more on base now because of that reason right there.
He has 114 ABs and has 29 strikeouts which for that many ABs is among the highest on the team. Yorke has 109 ABs and 31 strikeouts to give a comparison. Yorke's OPS is .834 and DarDar is .916.
His glove has also been absolutely awful and cost us games. He has not been good. I don't care what he did last year out of conference.

This team will go down in infamy and be talked about for decades as the standard of pathetic.

Really? Who do you think in this roster portal class would start for any other SEC team. I'm all ears. At best these players would be depth pieces and I honestly don't even know if some are cut for that in the SEC.
Cooper Moore helps every team in the SEC by being on their roster. Certainly not just a depth piece on a vast majority of teams. Unless you’re excluding him because of injury.
