Cool story.

Guess we should shut down the program.

To be fair, that TAMU team was more talented than this team. Nobody from this LSU portal class should be on a SEC roster if I'm being honest here. Whoever is responsible for the scouting here LSU better take a long look at them.

What kind of loser cares about what aTm did last year and compares LSU baseball to them?

The flip side, TAMU didn’t have a national championship to show for it.

If you were being honest, you’d admit there are 2 from this portal class that easily can play in the sec, one of them started today and the other hasnt played for almost the entire sec season

That’s a dumb statement.

I'm not sure it's that simple. There's absolutely no way they're putting all the scouting on Johnson and Jordan even if Jay takes accountability for this here. He's too busy as a HC to simply go in and scout every portal player. It's more likely they identify the players they think fulfill his needs then he picks the ones he thinks will work. So yes, he's partly responsible but there's no way I believe he's entirely responsible for scouting.

Really? Who do you think in this roster portal class would start for any other SEC team. I'm all ears. At best these players would be depth pieces and I honestly don't even know if some are cut for that in the SEC.

Dardar and Moore would absolutely be starters for almost any sec team

And they were both pretty highly sought after

I mean, he has been pretty awful with his glove as Bide has been too. They both need heavy development here. Early on their struggles were a big part why the pitching was melting down. It's not all on them but they still need to both find a glove at catcher or we in trouble next year there again. Serna was struggling hard at that point in the season as well. I'm pretty I said right behind that he'd get better as a freshman the more he played.

Crawfish all you want, thats a horrible take, and his glove, while not elite yet, is decent for this level

Dardar is barely average at best. I don't think he'd start for any other SEC team. He'd be an okay depth piece I think. Maybe he could start on someone like South Carolina. His glove is absolutely awful and if you throw him curve balls inside he can't lay off them. He's a situational DH at best and he swings for the fences every swing.

Moore is a big maybe. We don't know that. He looked like he might be good enough but he didn't really get a chance to show what he'd do in the SEC since he got hurt early.
