I take it the alumni chapter won't be saying this when it comes to Wisconsin.

Drunk Wisconsin

Gonna be a fun weekend!

I'd be more than ok with just getting the W on the field.

Partied with them in Houston for the opener 2 years ago. They like to shoot Jameson...it was a good time. Their accent is so strange to me though, all the guys seem to sound so feminine

Remember reading the story in the N.O. Picayune the year the Packers played in the Super Bowl. The article was about 3 Packer fans who stayed in town after the game, with the intention of just staying a few more days. They ended up staying 3 wks & one said that they had finally found someone else who could drink like they did. A friend lives in G.Bay & she says that due to the extreme cold weather during a Packer's season, their fans are borderline professional drinkers. Should be a good mix.

What else is there to do there, besides bowling, especially in Winter?

Top Three:

3. Green Bay (where we're playing)
2. Neenah (where we're staying)
1. Appleton (where my buddies are staying)

Heaven help me...

That data was then aggregated with county level data from a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute joint program, called County Health Rankings & Roadmaps.

Wonder why...

The data they are using makes no sense. Low life expectancy, obesity, early deaths are not only specific to drinking.

To give a comparison to Southerners:
In small towns across the South there are multiple churches.
Replace those churches with bars and you have Wisconsin. I think a big reason is culturally Baptists don't drink, but Catholics and Lutherans do. German heritage plays a big roll also.

LSU can hang I am sure. I have been to your games and I know your rep. I will buy a round for some of y'all over the weekend.

I will say that I attended big games at Auburn and Florida and Ole Miss during warm weather and each time it struck me as cool with all the people out.. I liked the grove at Ole Miss, the greek scent at Florida, and the RVs at Aunurn..but not nearly as many were drinking as you would see in Madison on game day. There wasnt that buzz in the air. It was way more prim and proper at those venues compared to the animal house atmosphere for big games here.

We have 2 student unions on the UW campus and both are great places to drink on gameday.

Enjoy the trip
