AS I have said all along: do not expect to win 9-10 games in the regular season in 2026. I do not care how much we spend on our roster in NIL/AD funds, 2026 is gonna be a season of establishing LK's system. I expect 8-4.

Washington wasn't exactly loaded to the top with talent around him. Anyone with eyes could tell this guy is going to be up as a major hesiman candidate next season. And he's younger than the other portal options with no injuries. He's the best fit for Lane's system. He's a shorter Chambliss with arguably more playmaking ability.
I'm not convinced LSU is the only player though. I think if Oregon wants him bad enough LSU is not outbidding them despite the treasure chest LSU has right now.

I don't think any of these QBs looked good against good competition. The kid we just lost to TT...his stats against good competition were terrible too. We get the right system and we will be fine regardless of who he brings in at QB, as long as we get a couple of good OL in the portal, ideally about 4 with starting experience. I honestly believe it is the system that makes these QBs look good that Lane has had recently....obviously they need to have some talent too.

Not to mention Dart went 0-3 as a freshman at USC. QB play in 26 is not going to be an issue.

Yeah people are really nitpicking extremely talented QBs here.
All of them seem to have struggled at times against better competition.
Williams actual tape gets me the most excited. He seems the most like a Kiffin QB. Looks like he has a ton of talent and he could be the most dangerous with better talent around him. I believe he is also the youngest of the top QBs available and he's already putting up incredible stats. And he is the most healthy. I find the idea of him under Kiffin to be very exciting. Would be happy to get any of these QBs.
