With a brand new program and lots of new players, plus significant injuries. We will get better!

You need to stop putting logic into the rant’s pity party. We’re supposed to be all big mad and wanting to fire everyone

We just need to get hot at the right time. I think Ohio state won a title a few years back because they got hot at the right time. If this was a Brian Kelly team, then I would say forget about it. However, with Lane, anything is possible.

If we win the next 2, get TDG and Whit back for Bama, and the players buy in, we will be dangerous end of year.

Bama and Texas will be a tough two game stretch though.

And should be undefeated. Turnovers and charmin soft def cost us both games.

When the defense can't stop a nosebleed there isn't much you can do.

On October 18th last year LSU was only "12 points away from being undefeated".

These two losses don't mean Kiffin should be fired or that the program is in shambles. But the "we almost won" crowd is equally as pathetic as the "we won't win again" crowd.

Yeah, that's great. Our silver linings are usually daggers.

I had a coach in high school who had a sign in his office that read “closeness only counts in horseshoes and atom bombs.” That said, the injury situation has definitely impacted us. Had Weeks and Spears played, we’d have beaten Kentucky.

That's a very retarded way of looking at things. Would you consider it a successful season to go 0-12 and lose by a combined 12 points in those games or go 9-3 with 3 blow out losses?

We are a really good football team that has not figured out a way to win close games. I won't use the qualifier of "yet" because there's a chance they just never figure that out in 2026. If this team matures a bit, gets their 2 best players back, and Lane makes marginally better late game decisions, we can absolutely run the table.

I would personally have us finishing 8-4 with losses to Alabama and Tennessee as things stand right now, but I don't believe it's crazy at all to think this team can grow and get over the very small hump of finishing football games. We are so close.
