re: We all know this team has limits. What is your realistic best case for Hoover?

Perhaps not getting 10-run ruled in the first game.

That’s like saying the sun is a little bit warm.

Try to use your brain if you can. Counter the comment and tell me why getting swept 5 of 6 is a good thing and bodes well for Hoover instead of shooting messengers. The topic is LSU baseball not posters who point out troubling statistics.

Nice try, but there will be no shifting of the narrative. Your comment wasn’t an evaluation of good or bad. You said those loses mean the team quit. Those were your words. But anyone who knows anything about baseball could see that wasn’t the case. They just weren’t good enough.
If the actually had quit, the end of the season would have been FAR worse than it was. There wouldn’t have been that many close games lost in the last 2 or 3 innings. The freshmen wouldn’t have had a positive impact. They also wouldn’t have improved from bottom 3 at the plate early in the season with only one starter batting over .300 to above middle of the SEC with multiple batters finishing over that mark while playing better teams down the stretch. None of that lines up with quitting in the slightest.
Any fool watching knows why the team has struggled. Portal misses, pitching that got worse as the season went on, multiple injuries and terrible defense and struggles at the plate early in the season. By the time those were improved, the pitching was off a cliff and it didn’t matter. Most of the freshmen also weren’t ready for starting roles until the last third of the season.
Again, none of that points to quitting. If anyone did, it was Caraway and his arse was nailed to the bench the last 2 weekends while pretty much everyone else on the roster played.
You have an obvious agenda. You say anything you can to further it, usually exaggerated and often total horseshite. No one with a brain takes you seriously.
