We all know that unless the bottom falls out and we go winless the rest of the way

And into next year, Kelly ain’t going anywhere.
However, this whole “proven head coach” thing they were seemed so dead set on that got us Kelly. To be honest, Kelly has done an admirable job of righting the ship and getting the program back to viability.
It seems that he will not be able to take us to where we want to go though.
However, and I agree with Woodward making a safe hire after the shitshow that was Ed Orgeron, I don’t give a shite about hiring a proven head coach. Lanning was never a head coach prior to Oregon, Smart was never a head coach prior to Georgia, Day was never a head coach prior to Ohio State. Clark Lea was never a head coach prior to Vandy. There are plenty of really good coordinators out there that could work. This whole idea “oh we’ve got to hire a head coach with a proven record” stance is very shortsighted.
I would like to see someone who is innovative, younger, energetic, and actually coaches one side of the ball, whoever that is I think would possibly get us out of third gear.

Please calm down with this nonsense. We still have 2 wins coming for sure.

It wouldn't matter if we lost out. BK ain't going anywhere for at least another 2-3 years.

I'm of the opinion when Kelly is done (whenever that is) if Blake Baker is wanting to be a HC give him the keys. I think he'll be a hell of a head coach some day.

Ooohhh!!! I never thought of it like that! 6-6 is the floor. So it’s all good then.
Thanks. I feel much better now. I’m so glad CBK came here and turned the program around. What a bargain- $100 million for a 6-6 or maybe 8-4 team.

I’d be absolutely ok with that. Excited, even.
