Yup, I wonder if she brings one of the other LSU assistants with her (Mitchell). Messer coached her in college and was an assistant under Messer the last time she was a HC.

Not sure how good of a HC she will be but she is a good recruiter and players seem to like her a lot. She has a limited HC resume to draw much conclusion from.

Understood. She had a few accomplishments at Tennessee tech I saw. Wishing for the best.

Seimone or Temeka Johnson!! I wouldn’t mind her hiring Nikki McCray. Hell throw the bag at Jackson state coach, Kim did it once before with Toyell Wilson

Seimone coaches for the LA Spark now and hasn’t been there for long. I doubt she leaves that job.

It's a great hire and I wish she wasn't leaving. She was Mulkey's right-hand man.

Not a lot of prestige or money in being the No. 3 assistant on a WNBA team that plays for a couple of months out of the year.

As much as Seimone has been around the program of late, I thought there was a chance we'd see her as an assistant with Kim in the near future. That future might be nearer than I thought.

She has definitely been Kim’s right hand for awhile now. Great thing about her as an assistant is she is not a “yes” coach who told Kim only what she wanted to hear and Kim valued that. Kim doesn’t want to be surrounded by sycophants.
Congratulations to Coach Messer, but I too hate to see her go. I do have all the confidence in the world Kim makes the right hire and I don’t think it will be Seimone Augustus.
