No way.

9-3 at worst IMO.

Good shout for a road loss (Tennessee is the biggest danger there, but Ole Miss, Kentucky, Auburn and Arkansas all got new coaches; maybe one or more of them do well), but we're not losing three home games.

I'd give 1-2 losses from the trio of Bama/A&M/Texas, 0-1 losses from the road games, and wins everywhere else.

I think we are 8-0 heading into Bama depending on QB. I think we lose to UT and possibly the SECCG. Make playoff and host.

I’ll say 8-4, maybe 9-3 with winning one of the UT/Tenn games.

What do y’all think?
Have you not been following LSU football the last couple months? How on earth are you picking this team to lose THREE games at home? You may want to go look up Lane's record at home while at Ole Miss - now combine that with Death Valley.

This team on paper is more talented then the roster lane just went 11-1 with. Not saying that means we go 12-0 but damn some are severely estimating how good we can look year 1 under Kiffin esp if seaton indeed does come .

10-2 Floor. 11-1 Ceiling. I think we slip up either vs. UT or at UT before making a playoff run.

Way too pessimistic.

Vs Clemson - W
Vs La Tech - W
@ Ole Miss - W
Vs A&M - W
Vs Mcneese - W
@ UK - W
Vs Miss St - W
@ Auburn - L (@ Auburn is always a recipe for weird things to happen)
BYE
vs Alabama - W
Vs UT - W
@ Tennessee - L (Only going L here because 11-1 is too optimistic. All depends on Tenn's quarterback situation)
@ Arkansas - W

This is one of the hardest schedules in recent memory. On par with the 2011 schedule. This is also (with the addition of Princewill and Seaton) the most talented team, on paper, we have had since '19.

This team will be really, really good. 9-3 is the absolute floor. 10-2/11-1 more likely.

I'll say 16-0 until we lose a game, then I'll say 15-1. Gotta be optimistic or what's the point.

Ole Miss will have the best qb and best rb in the SEC next year. I really doubt we'll go into Oxford and just whip them considering how motivated they will be. That game is a tossup at best.

Note" please do not think that Trinity Chambliss will be ineligible in 2026. Chambliss will easily win his lawsuit in MS state court with an Ole Miss alum judge.

I think you’re an Idiot to start a thread and LSU hasn’t even established a full roster. Sad thing is we know what you think-not very much.

Same defense as this year but offense should score more…lots more.

If the above holds true, then 10-2.

Vs Clemson - W
Vs La Tech - W
@ Ole Miss - W
Vs A&M - L (Reed has destroyed Baker's defense 2x. Until he shows he can stop Reed, it's hard to predict a W...even at home. Plus, this is a letdown spot given the emotion that will accompany the OM game)
Vs Mcneese - W
@ UK - W
Vs Miss St - W
@ Auburn - L (JHS is the most underrated venue in the SEC)
BYE
vs Alabama - W
Vs UT - W (every new LSU HC seems to get a really big win at home...This is Kiffin's)
@ Tennessee - L (going on the road after games vs. Alabama and Texas is a tough task)
@ Arkansas - W
