Do yall think he would’ve been better than Leavitt? He seemed to be Kiffin’s first choice before UW forced him to stay and honor his contract and Lane had to fly to TN to beg on his hands and knees to Sam and his brother.

I’m watching Demond right now against WSU and his passing looks accurate; not as shifty as Leavitt when scrambling.

I mean he's 9/17 for 65 yards. I'm happy with what we have

10/18 68 yards and a 3.6 ypc avg.

How is that better so far?

I mean he's had a couple nice throws but they were more schemed with open receivers. Our WR concern me more than Sam's shaky passing performance.

Also wild that Washington color are purple and gold and look nothing like us lol

It’s week 1 let’s revisit this in 6 weeks but as of now I’m more than ecstatic with Leavitt. If he can stay healthy he’ll be better than majority of the QBs in the NCAA

I think it’ll get better as the season goes on with timing. Some of the throws Sam missed on were mainly behind. We have a really fast group of receivers so their breaks are quicker than normal. Also they get upfield faster

Go back and look at the throw SL made early in the game to Watkins on a crossing route. He had pressure but stood in the pocket and made a great throw. It’s there.

I trust the coaching staff and they will get him firing on all cylinders sooner rather than later. Glad he is our qb1
