Downvote away but O didn't lose that game. The players did by not making the simple plays & by making stupid mistakes

What is a coach for if not to make sure the players are prepared enough to make simple plays and not make stupid mistakes?

Yes, please let’s forget this debacle of a game. LSU got its arse handed to them-plain and simple. All the blame starts with him, coaching staff, and players. Own it and move on!

So LSU’s 2nd & 3rd team personnel aren’t as good as Sunbelt team players? That’s rather worrisome.

Never played the game did you? Otherwise you might have played a game in which the staff prepared you well but key players didn't perform for whatever reason. That is what I am saying might have happened. Understand O meddling in Canada's offense but I don't believe that kept the offense from producing. Lack of blocking, throwing and catching was the problem as well as 4 turnovers. Don't care how well you are coached, players have to execute. Otherwise you might not win.

IT WAS frickING TROY! You act like it was against another SEC team.

Our fricking walk on players were probably rated higher than 90% of theirs.

There is zerO excuse fOr us lOsing that game and all the blame falls On One persOn and One persOn alOne.

Nope cant be the guy coaching the teams fault. Has to be solely on the players.

Just FYI I watched that game too, and it was with out a doubt on O when you handicap an offense that results in 0 first half points.

But yeah injuries and players were why we lost. The excuses are never ending.

1 turnover in the first half. Both interceptions came after we scored a touchdown. The second came on a last second play.

Saying 4 turnovers doesnt tell the whole story captain.

Agreed. The head coach is not responsible for having his team mentally and physically ready to compete. The head coach is a recruiter, a speaker, a politician, and most importantly a thumbnail biting handclapper. Without a doubt those are the things I'd look for in a coach. Ultimately it's on the players and the head coach simply has no real control over how they perform. It's unfortunate that the head coach gets so much blame and so much credit.

Good thing guys like Saban get so lucky and their players always seem to play so well. Damn the luck

That's right.

1. Not enough dline to rotate.
Lb especially thin.

2. Technique.

Yet Clemson had to rally late in the 4th quarter to beat Troy in 2016, the year Clemson won the NC. Troy isn't great, but they have proven they can hang with and beat better teams if the better team isn't playing their best. Way too much is still being made of this. It was a perfect storm, lack of players, 4 turnovers, missed field goals...shite happens

This narrative won't work though because it HAS to be O's fault all the way.
What you're suggesting is that the players played a bigger role in the loss than the coaches.
You should know better than to assert that the players were actually on the field making the plays.

But I bet he'll be watching from the sidelines slot this year. I'm just not impressed with him, hope he proves me wrong for his sake.
