So the coaches had nothing to do with scoring 21 points vs a Sunbelt team.

Cool good to know.

And?

Troy played neck and neck with them, and led in the fourth. Troy isn't grambling. If you make mistakes, lack personnel, they can play with the better teams. They have proven that over the years.

Well damn why did LSU fire les if it’s the players fault for not executing?

Chicken or egg?
Did josh booty lose is the game against UAB?
Unacceptable loss at home to a conf USA team at homecoming.
Did Saban lose that game? Because bootys int wasn't the only poor play in the game.
When Saban, Miles, O pull out close wins vs inferior opponents, is it because of their superior game planning, in game adjustments and strategical acumen?
Or, did we just out athlete the other team and our players won the game in spite of poor coaching?
It doesn't fall entirely on O or any other coach. The players made a ton of mistakes, played poorly, underestimated the opponent. That falls on their shoulders and on game prep.
Even thin on the line, mistakes piled up and Troy was able to wear us down with extra possessions. It always falls on coaches AND players.

Ok, I read all the posts on the front page, and there was no mention of the most glaring reason. I can only assume that in the replay they did not show that Troy essentially had an untimed down to kick the fg at the end of the first half.

IF the officials had not screwed up that call at the end of the half they would have had 6-7 seconds to get their fg team rushed onto the field and attempt the fg. There is almost a 0% chance they would have been successful. That combined with one of our many missed fg of the year was the difference in a game that the team played horrible in.

Clemson won and that game occurred one year prior. Nothing to do with the LSU losing to them.

Didn’t you just fire off 3 posts in a row in the same thread? At least I talk About football.

You just belittle other for being miserable and having no lives in your 67th post of the day.

On any given day, don’t you think all 2nd/3rd team backups at LSU should beat any team at Troy.
Nope. There is a lot more parity in college football today. This isn't the seventies or early eighties.

There were games during Les's tenure where the players were clearly at fault.
There were also games where Les's game plan was so GD conservative that there was no way for the players to win.

I also was referring to this specific game....not all games coached by Les/O. But I get your need to twist shite and feed your narrative.

Someone mentioned 4 turnovers. Are you so short-sighted that you can't see how this issue affected the outcome of the game.

Lol. Troy would have beaten several teams last year in the sec. They have proven annually they can play with the big boys.

Or we could say...it was ULM...or it was UAB. But we know, that is different.

They couldn’t beat Southern alabama or Boise State. The only proof that they could beat the big boys was us.

So you agree O regressed the program back to 2000 levels already?

Actually I may have posted 5-6 times today. Already hit balls, and getting ready to go play. Meanwhile, you will start stupid threads, and obsess over how O sucks and talk about Troy and state. Different day, same shite. I've said it before...justice and others are complete trolls...you aren't. I'm not sure which is worse.

well it’s good to see we can pick and choose what losses coaches get blamed for. So it appears O hasn’t lost a game yet I’m curious to see if he can maintain his undefeated record through this next season. I’m sure him interfering in the offensive game plan in the first half was a players fault as well right?

6-2 in sec

I believe there have been three teams in the past 25-30 years that have done better. In addition, lsu hasn't gone 6-2 since 2012. But by all means Sammy, keep saying lsu regressed. It is comical that you can't see a bar chart and understand that they didn't regress, based upon wins losses.

ok champ if you say so. They weren't SEC quality day in and day out but you don't win 10 games in any conference in the country by being bad.

This is how I know you don't watch college football regularly.

College football has the least amount of parity of probably any sport.

How many rent a wins are there every year and how often does an embarrassment like this happen?

Literally no one.....NO ONE....you know the opposite of everybody.....has ever said that the first half of that game wasn't completely O's fault... but feel free to continue on whining about it and ignoring the completely obvious.
