Many Cajun fans bring it upon themselves with the arguments they try to bring to this board. Can't go on an opponent's message board and argue a case that doesn't have a leg to stand on. As a Cajun fan I will say that it's moronic for any ULL fan to argue that we have a better program or coach or stadium or school or anything. We have a good place and a pretty good thing going right now in the Sun Belt. I love the school, the tigue and robe as the coach and their has been solid growth. 4 super regionals is impressive for a sun belt school, surely Tiger fans can at least recognize that. I wish more Cajun fans focused on these things. We aren't LSU and can't compare our success to yalls. It's not a rivalry and it never will be but hopefully it can be a well played series that represents both universities well.

You just typed a whole lot of shite to basically say, "hey guys, I hope y'all think I'm cool on a message board"

Ul hit .317, slugged .502 and scored 478 runs, they also led the nation in home runs with 74 compared to lsu's 47

And scored 3 runs in two games against LSU.

Any given year the Cajuns could win. It just won't happen on a consistent basis.

I'm 30 years old. Looking cool is not high on my radar. I try to use rational common sense in all aspects of my life. I really wish we could use this board for good baseball conversation and debate instead of back and forth non sense that's being going on for decades between Cajun fans and Tigers fans.

Default We should shout this from the rooftops
How many teams in America made it to Super Regionals in both baseball and softball in both of the past 2 seasons?

One.

The University of Louisiana.

My point is valid though. I feel like I have a unique prospective on this topic. Born and raised in BR going to every lsu event imaginable. Everyone in my family is a lsu grad including my wife except for me. I'd love to be able to get into the nuts and bolts of this series but we can't because it's always about how many L's are in ULL and "I didn't know Louisville was our opponent" or "lsu is not as good In computer science" or God knows what. Let's talk some baseball damnit!

Well since LSU doesn't get mediocre talent he wouldn't know what to do now, would he?

I had always heard Skip offered Wells the job and Wells laughed at Skip's stipulation that he (Skip) would still control the camp and all the camp money.

Smoke was willing to accept that stipulation and got the job. I always heard they were the only two seriously offered.
