LOL! Probably so.

I was an Uber driver a few years later and picked up a girl from Tennessee that went to that game. She said they (Tennessee fans) were not proud of that game. I said "we aren't either!".

Par for the course with Miles. He needed to hire one person to do clock management and he would still be coaching LSU...

Tennessee in 2000 or 01. They played over time with students on the end lines of the endZone.

It saw sad, and difficult to feel good about this win. Miles had many good qualities, but stubbornness and inability to change were his most lasting traits.

I was right there in the stands...everyone saw too many men on the field, and screaming it..Very wild episode.

Yep classic Miles game management at its best!

That was absolutely pathetic. Something else I’m glad is gone. Piss poor time management.

Yes. Non-stop booing & shite flying in every direction, even after we won

The many seconds that ran off the clock right before Flynn to Byrd.

Honorable mention goes to an Alabama game where there was a fumble recovery, flags, and various confusion. After conferring, the refs spotted the ball and signaled it was Alabama ball when clearly LSU had possession. Fans came unglued.

They finally straightened it out. I remember saying that they better figure it out quickly because someone was going to go on the field and literally kill a referee.

The first time “instant replay” was used in Tiger Stadium. The refs looked at the South Endzone Jumbotron.

No, but it was definitely one of the most confusing. That untimed play was the weirdest ending to a game and I was in the end zone stands in Oxford for the “Clock It” game.

There’s about 300,000 people who claimed they were at the Florida game in 1997.

I've been on some strong BP meds ever since that game.
