This is the reason I like Kelly so much. There can be a QB competition and nobody on the outside knows about it.
You can bet there was a competition for QB spring and fall. I believe Nuss has pushed JD hard and he knows he isn't successful at pushing the ball down the field, we will see Nuss. You can tell when the interview JD that he knows he has to be allot better at pushing the ball down the field with all the talent we have at receivers.

Watched the spring game. Daniels was more accurate. Nuss missed some gimme passes that required touch. He still forces passes into coverage too often. Think Daniels is best choice. Nuss is a heck of a player also.

Y’all are in for another long season with this shite. Just let it go and enjoy the games… y’all continue to act like CBK and staff wouldn’t start the best guy. They see them EVERYDAY. Best man will play on this team at every position, end of story. We are trying to win a natty, not just be bowl eligible.

And Daniels was not….lighting it up? I think Nuss is a more accomplished passer. However, it’s about other responsibilities and experience, where Daniels has an edge.

Our starter is Preseason first team all SEC, in second year in the system after a very good first year.
But the backup, who has a great arm but shown poor decision making ability multiple times, should be starting game 1.
