All I’ve seen coming from fall camp is Nuss has been lighting it up nonstop against the defense and in drills. Heading into week 1 it doesn’t even sound like he will get much playing time at all. Have to wonder why he stayed around.

You can go to YouTube and watch him explain it in his own words.

I listened to it. It’s a QB answer. I think there is more to it.

When he discussed Walker Howard and Nuss staying for spring (before Howard left)

Because he's a smart kid knowing that he'll be surrounded by elite talent to showcase his skills and have one of the best OLs in the country.

And when does he have to give one? He doesn’t answer to Internet couch coaches thankfully.

So you don’t believe him?

He’s from here, (I understand he grew up in Flower Mound but he calls Louisiana home) his family is from here.

Why do you think there’s “more to it?”

He could’ve left if he wanted to.

Reason #1, grass aint always greener. Walker Howard didn't want to be QB3, so he transferred to Ole Miss where he thought he would be QB2. Then after that, Lane took Sanders from the Pokes so now Walker's gonna be QB3 anyway.

Reason #2, Nuss knows he's an injury away from starting on a team with a talented OL and skill players that he already has chemistry with and familiarity with the system to best showcase his talents when the time comes, and if not this year it will be his team next year.

Reason #3, he likes working with Sloan.

Reason #4, he wants to be at LSU and always has

Hopefully that has cleared up any questions of yours. Geaux Tigers

I haven’t heard anything about either QB “lighting it up” and I honestly doubt either of them have been. That’s not how practice works.

He sees the young talent and future recruiting classes already looking good so he knows his turn is coming.

What are you talking about. All I have heard is daniels has been elite all camp. And nuss isn’t far behind.
Both had great camps and poised for this year and next

There was never a QB competition. Kelly has said Jayden would be the starter this year since the bowl game ended last year.

Damn, haven’t played game 1 and here we go with this shite already. Give it a rest. JD is the guy this year and Nuss next year. He’s ok with it why can’t you ?
