Coach said he’s playing much better now than in Spring, and he’s likely to be a starter. We need Dom go be a beast.

I wonder if this staff looks at Dom and sees a 1st round LT prospect.

Favorite part was the honest assessment of they challenged him after the spring because he had a bad spring. But glad to hear he responded and has had a good camp thus far. He is definitely needed.

Probably so, and I wonder if the staff looks at Jordan Seaton as a 1st round edge prospect. He would definitely fit a need.

They have a pretty good LT literal Larry, plus we need serviceable DTs. I just mean philosophically if this staff looks at a 6’6” freaky dude who’s strong and has trouble with pad level and think why didn’t the previous staff develop this guy into an OT.

I've been waiting for the staff to light a fire under his arse. I think running with the 3s and seeing two freshmen starting over him finally gave him a much needed reality check.

Yes. This, and Kiffin mentioning that Leavitt made two throws that only a very few QBs in the country are capable of making.

I swear, Trindon would have been an elite DE.

His year to really break out and set himself up for the future. Opportunity knocks, it doesn't kick the door down.
Get after it DM & have a great season!

For sure, very similar thought exercise to suggesting a 6’6” guy who’s an average DT that struggles with pad level and is 15 on Feldman’s freak list could have been a higher upside prospect had he been developed as an OT.

Bruce Feldman put him in his Freaks of college football list for this upcoming season.

Most defensive tackles take more time to develop than a lot of other positions. It doesn’t surprise me. He just needs to keep progressing.

With McKinley it looked to be more about playing hard and wanting to put the work in to be great.

The Trindon DE reference is a running joke on the Rant, baw. It wasn't an attempt to belittle your suggestion.

I feel like he needs to put on more weight with that frame of his. 310 or 315 would be an excellent playing weight for him

I bet he was just slow to adjust to the pace of the offense.

Sounds like a conditioning issue
