WTF?

We hadn't lost to Vandy in 35 years prior to Saturday.

he sat for years while he could have played elsewhere. Stayed when he could have gotten drafted

Nuss hasn't played great but he also is being set up to fail. The offense isn't designed to fit his game. Can't run downhill at all. We use a 6'7 freak as a blocking tightend more often than a WR, especially in the redzone when we should just be giving Green jump balls

I feel for Nuss. It has to suck for him, he knows he could play better because he did last year. He has been hurt but still goes out there taking shots all game.

This is on par with those posting, "Not a single Ole Miss player could start for LSU!"

I like the guy. But you can watch him and see he doesn’t have it.

False. Bad reads, terrible throws, and poor decisions has bombed his stock.

He's got a lot of pressure on him and I believe he wants to deliver for the Tigers and all the fans.
It is a lot to deal with. However, this is what he wanted.
So time to nut up and lead the team like the #18 you are wearing.

He didn’t get to do his new goofy touchdown dance and handshake he learned instead of working with the VR and receivers

Dude passed up guaranteed 1st round stock to come back. Now he is hated by the fanbase, plummeted his draft stock, season is over. Despite what most think, he finally isn’t injured and looks a lot better. If he was healthy all year we probably have the same record because of our OL and OC, but he would have better stats because of other games

It is never okay for your fifth year captain starting QB to be crying after being upset by Vanderbilt on a national stage. What happened to the sense of pride that came with playing football for LSU? Horrible look for the team and for Nuss.

His dad is OC for the Saints. Daddy Nuss will see to it that they either take him in a late round or sign him as a UDFA. He’ll get into Loomis’ ear and convince him.

My guess is it's a combination of both.

The guy has been playing hurt thinking he had to in order for LSU to get where it wants to go.

The realization probably hit him that he was taking the punishment for nothing. Gotta be frustrating as hell.
